compararbancos.com.br and fupfup.com: how I built two financial blogs from scratch and what I learned about loans and alternatives
My real journey building compararbancos.com.br and FUPFUP.com, from rejection to AdSense approval, and how I help people find safer loan alternatives without falling into traps.

compararbancos.com.br and fupfup.com: how I built two financial blogs from scratch and what I learned about loans and alternatives
how this all started (and why I didn’t want just one income anymore)
I used to work only as a website developer. That was my thing. Code, layout, structure… I liked it. But at some point, I started thinking… “what if I could make money even when I’m not working directly for a client?”
That idea stayed in my head for a while. Then I started researching ways to make money online. Blogs kept showing up everywhere. And I remember watching Peter Jordan from Ei Nerd talking about it on YouTube. That kind of clicked for me.
And honestly… being a programmer in this situation feels like being tall in basketball. You already have an advantage. So I thought — why not use it?
building compararbancos.com.br from zero (literally zero)
I started building compararbancos.com.br in early September. At first it was just layout. Since I’m a developer, that part was actually fun for me. I could move fast, test things, change structure without depending on anyone.
Then on September 22, 2025, I bought the domain and put the site online.
And here’s something most people don’t talk about…
I spent the first 3 months just testing things. No pressure. No expectations. Just learning how this “blog + traffic + monetization” world really works.
my first adsense rejection (and why it was actually good)
When I first applied to AdSense, it got rejected. Same reason I see a lot now: low-value content.
And yeah… they were right.
The content wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t… real. It didn’t have identity. It didn’t feel like it was written by someone actually building something.
So I changed the strategy completely.
I decided that next time, I would only publish content that:
- Was original
- Had real context
- Actually helped someone make a decision
Basically, what I’m doing right now here on FUPFUP.
what compararbancos.com.br actually does (and why it works)
The idea behind compararbancos.com.br is simple… but powerful.
People search things like:
- “urgent loan near me”
- “how to get money fast legally”
- “is borrowing from a loan shark worth it?”
And that’s where I come in.
I don’t just throw random information. I compare options. I show safer alternatives. I explain why some decisions can destroy someone financially.
If someone is thinking about borrowing from an illegal lender… I try to show better paths:
- banks
- fintech apps
- credit unions
- legal personal loan platforms
Because what most people don’t realize is… urgency makes people take bad decisions.
what happened after I improved the content
After rewriting the blog with better content, I applied again to AdSense.
This time — approved.
And that changed everything.
I started working seriously on the project. Posting every day. Creating systems to speed things up. Even integrating APIs and tools I built myself to automate parts of the process.
The blog started growing.
Not overnight. But consistently.
posting about loans in every city (yes, every city)
One thing I tested — and it worked — was creating content about financial solutions in different cities.
But not just generic pages.
I tried to match what people actually search when they’re desperate:
- “loan in [city] fast approval”
- “safe alternatives to loan sharks in [city]”
- “where to borrow money legally near me”
And instead of pushing risky options… I guide them toward safer, legal solutions.
If I were in that situation, that’s exactly what I would want to read.
then came the idea: what if I do this in english?
At some point, I realized something simple.
If this works in Brazil… why wouldn’t it work in English?
That’s when I created FUPFUP.com.
The domain was registered on November 25, 2025.
And the idea is basically the same — but bigger.
More structured. More refined. And focused on the US market.
what I’m doing differently with fupfup.com
With FUPFUP, I’m not repeating the same mistakes.
I’m focusing on:
- real stories
- personal experience
- clear comparisons
- helping people choose better financial options
Instead of just saying “get a loan”… I show:
- what kind of loan
- from where
- what risks exist
- what safer alternatives exist
Because honestly… a lot of people searching about money are confused, stressed, or desperate.
And that’s exactly when they need better guidance.
adsense, patience, and what nobody tells you
One thing I learned the hard way…
AdSense takes time.
Usually 2 to 4 weeks just to get a response.
And if your site is not fully aligned with what they want… you wait even more.
That’s why I’m taking this seriously now.
Better content. Better structure. Real value.
final thoughts (what I would do if I were starting today)
If I had to start again from zero, I would skip all the generic content.
I would go straight to:
- real experience
- helpful comparisons
- honest opinions
Because in the end… that’s what makes people trust your content.
And trust is what turns a simple blog into something that actually grows.
Compararbancos.com.br and FUPFUP.com are independent projects… but they come from the same idea:
help people make better financial decisions when they need it the most.
And yeah… I’m still building.
